How to use the kit correctly

  1. Check the packaging, storage condition and expiry information before use.
  2. Collect a representative diesel sample using appropriate safe sampling controls.
  3. Perform the test exactly in accordance with the instructions supplied with the product.
  4. Confirm that the required control indication is valid before interpreting the test.
  5. Record the sample details, test date, device details and result for the evidence file.

Interpretation limits

What the result can and cannot tell you

  • Do not interpret the device from a shortened website description alone.
  • The device screens for the addressed marker response; it is not a full fuel-composition analysis.
  • An invalid, abnormal or disputed result should be escalated under an appropriate controlled process.
  • Storage, expiry, sampling and test execution can affect the reliability of the result.
